Restaurant Manager North Brisbane

Were looking for a Restaurant Manager to take ownership of one of our high-volume North Brisbane restaurants with the added opportunity to develop your skills by supporting our other restaurants across the North Brisbane area.

This is a great next step if you want exposure beyond a single site: youll build experience managing across multiple restaurants work alongside other leaders in the region and set yourself up for the next level of growth within GYG whether thats a bigger restaurant an area support role or franchise ownership down the track.

Youll take full ownership of the day-to-day running of your restaurant lift the guest experience from excellent to remarkable coach and develop your team and manage inventory and financial performance while flexing into neighbouring North Brisbane restaurants as needed to share your experience and pick up new ones.

What Youll Be Doing

Operational Execution

• Run day-to-day operations to GYGs food safety and quality standards every order every time
• Manage inventory scheduling equipment security and compliance across your restaurant
• Step into neighbouring North Brisbane restaurants when needed to support coverage and share best practice

People Management

• Recruit train and develop your crew Cooks Shift Leaders and Assistant Managers
• Lead by example give honest feedback and manage performance fairly and consistently
• Build a team thats ready to grow with you including across other restaurants in the group

Guest Experience

• Lead a team that delivers a memorable guest experience every visit
• Keep speed of service and cleanliness standards on point
• Handle guest feedback and complaints quickly and well

Financial Management

• Take ownership of your restaurants P&L COGS cost of labour operating expenses and sales
• Spot sales trends run local area marketing and act on the numbers
• Keep inventory cash handling and reporting accurate and on time

Food Safety & WH&S

• Keep your restaurant compliant with GYGs food safety and WH&S standards at all times
• Close out incidents hazards and checklist gaps promptly

What Were Looking For

• Experience leading a team in a busy high-volume hospitality environment
• A track record of delivering exceptional customer service
• Strong communication skills clear honest and able to adapt to different people
• Experience hitting KPIs and driving profitability
• Comfortable working across more than one site and adapting to different teams
• Willingness to complete (or already hold) Food Safety Supervisor RSA First Aid and Liquor License certifications
• Solid financial acumen comfortable reading a P&L and acting on it
• Confident with Microsoft Office and willing to get across GYG systems (Micros MyInventory GOMEX TANDA Viva GYG)
