The successful applicant will have significant restaurant and beverage/sommelier management experience be able to deliver genuine hospitality coach and mentor the team drive wine list development and beverage cost control and report confidently to senior managers and consultants while managing the venues service administrative and financial performance.

Strong leadership is required at this level backed by a deep and current knowledge of wine and beverage a refined palate and the motivation to drive constant service perfection while meeting key performance indicators. A key requirement is the ability to make guests feel truly welcomed and appreciated with authentic character.

Garum is situated in the magnificent historical Hibernian Hall at the foot of The Westin Hotel located at the East end of the Perth CBD.

Job Description

You will be responsible for a large team of service staff and sommeliers leading the preparation and delivery of exceptional food wine and customer service. This includes maintaining an outstanding competitive wine list managing beverage stock costs and supplier relationships and keeping the teams product knowledge sharp through ongoing training and mentoring. You will drive guest experience uphold the restaurants brand and culture manage administrative and financial performance against KPIs and work closely with senior management and consultants on team leadership and product development. You will ensure seamless communication and cohesion between front and back of house so that every element of food beverage and service is delivered to the highest standard.
