Job Summary

KPMGs Resource Management team play a vital role in driving the efficient and effective use of our teams to optimise productivity and profitability. As trusted business advisors the Resource Management team is responsible for the allocation of individuals to upcoming client projects based on required skill sets and sector experience.

Your Opportunity

We are seeking an extraordinary person to join our Resource Management Team on a permanent basis at KPMG to work side-by-side with the business in resourcing their client engagements. Due to exciting growth we are seeking a Resource Manager based in Sydney. Please note this is a 12-month fixed term contract. Youll be responsible for the delivery of Resource Management strategies and operations. Your role will see you:   

  • Cascading Resource Management principles and promoting the value in good resource management practices to the business.
  • Providing resource solutions and processes which drive the efficient and effective use of the firms talent to optimise productivity and profitability.
  • Working closely with stakeholders and cross divisional Resource Management teams to re-deploy staff and identify capability needs.
  • Providing analysis and insights on resource metrics by producing and reviewing reports and financial information to proactively identify issues.
  • Developing resource contingency plans for future engagements identifying and resolving resource conflicts by negotiating positive outcomes.
  • Opportunities to lead or be involved in firmwide initiatives and transformation projects.

  • Previous Resource Management or Workforce Planning experience in a fast-moving professional service consulting or project-based environment highly desirable 
  • A passion for people and for solving complex and challenging issues.  
  • A high level of organisation and experience working towards deadlines and delivering on projects.
  • Demonstrated experience in working with varied information sources and large sets of data and the ability to analyse and action this to achieve optimal commercial outcomes.
  • A sound ability to perform well autonomously and a willingness to be innovative resilient and to adapt to a constantly evolving environment. 
  • Experience in Operations and/or Technology is highly desirable

Qualifications :

Please note: due to the fixed-term nature of this 12-month contract sponsorship is not available. Candidates must hold full Australian working rights.
