School Profile

SchoolHouse is working in partnership with co-educational day and boarding Prep-Year 12 school. This school is open to all students but particularly caters to the learning cultural social and physical needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students. This college offers the Australian Curriculum from Prep to Year 12 with students in Year 10 able to choose Vocational Education and Training options across the many Certificate I II and III courses offered at the College. This school is seeking committed boarding and youthwork professionals who can support students in a structured caring residential environment.

Employment Requirements

  • Blue Card (Working With Children Check) or ability to obtain
  • First Aid & CPR (or willingness to complete prior to commencement)
  • Strong communication and relationshipbuilding skills
  • Ability to lead a team and make sound decisions during a shift
  • Calm confident presence when supporting adolescent girls
  • Organised reliable and able to maintain structure and routine
  • Experience in residential care youth work or boarding (highly regarded)
  • Right to work in Australia
