OVERVIEW
ISS STOXX is looking for a Junior Analyst to join our Corporate Governance Research team. This role is focused on building foundational capability in a high-volume process-driven environment where success is defined by reliable execution within structured workflows. You will support the delivery of high-quality proxy research by ensuring the integrity of data collection coding and analysis while adhering to established methodologies and timelines.
RESPONSIBILITIES
What Youll Do
As a Junior Analyst youll play an important role in the proxy research process by:
Collecting reviewing and maintaining data related to shareholder meetings
Conducting research and coding governance information according to established methodologies
Ensuring data accuracy completeness and consistency across assigned projects
Supporting the preparation and delivery of proxy research reports within established timelines
Applying research frameworks analytical guidelines and quality standards to your work
Identifying and escalating issues when information is incomplete inconsistent or unclear

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors degree in Finance Economics Business Accounting Law Political Science International Relations or a related field (advanced degree MBA CFA or equivalent experience is a plus).
Strong analytical research and data management skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
Experience with databases research platforms financial analysis or other data-intensive projects is preferred.
Knowledge of or interest in corporate governance ESG capital markets investment research and proxy voting.
Strong organizational time-management and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese (Simplified and Traditional).
Ability to follow structured processes and guidelines while working both independently and collaboratively.
Demonstrates initiative adaptability willingness to learn and openness to feedback.
35 years of relevant research analysis or related experience preferred; exceptional new graduates are encouraged to apply.
