OVERVIEW

ISS STOXX is looking for a Junior Analyst to join our Corporate Governance Research team. This role is focused on building foundational capability in a high-volume process-driven environment where success is defined by reliable execution within structured workflows. You will support the delivery of high-quality proxy research by ensuring the integrity of data collection coding and analysis while adhering to established methodologies and timelines.

RESPONSIBILITIES

What Youll Do

As a Junior Analyst youll play an important role in the proxy research process by:

• Collecting reviewing and maintaining data related to shareholder meetings

• Conducting research and coding governance information according to established methodologies

• Ensuring data accuracy completeness and consistency across assigned projects

• Supporting the preparation and delivery of proxy research reports within established timelines

• Applying research frameworks analytical guidelines and quality standards to your work

• Identifying and escalating issues when information is incomplete inconsistent or unclear

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors degree in Finance Economics Business Accounting Law Political Science International Relations or a related field (advanced degree MBA CFA or equivalent experience is a plus).

• Strong analytical research and data management skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.

• Experience with databases research platforms financial analysis or other data-intensive projects is preferred.

• Knowledge of or interest in corporate governance ESG capital markets investment research and proxy voting.

• Strong organizational time-management and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese (Simplified and Traditional).

• Ability to follow structured processes and guidelines while working both independently and collaboratively.

• Demonstrates initiative adaptability willingness to learn and openness to feedback.

• 35 years of relevant research analysis or related experience preferred; exceptional new graduates are encouraged to apply.

• Passion for corporate governance research and delivering high-quality work.
