Job Summary
About the role
Join our Coal team in Mayfield West as a Reporting Assistant (Superintending) where you will play an important role in supporting the delivery of accurate and timely reporting for coal exploration projects.
Working closely with project teams and clients you will assist with the coordination review and reporting of superintending data ensuring information is captured accurately and delivered within required timeframes.
This role is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail excellent organisational skills and an interest in supporting coal exploration and technical projects.
Key responsibilities
- Collate review and report borehole project data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare coordinate and distribute project documentation and reports.
- Maintain accurate customer and project records.
- Enter and manage data within relevant systems including LIMS.
- Review data against historical records and client requirements as part of quality assurance processes.
- Support sample receipt dispatch and tracking activities.
- Provide regular project updates and reporting to support operational requirements.
- Assist with ad hoc projects and continuous improvement activities.
Qualifications :
What youll bring
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Experience within the coal industry preferably in a laboratory exploration or technical environment.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage accurate data.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with clients and internal teams.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office applications particularly Excel.
- Experience with LIMS or database systems is desirable.
- The ability to work independently take ownership and proactively complete
