Religous Education Learning Leader South eastern suburbs
SchoolHouse is working with a boys school in the south eastern suburbs of Melbourne. Students have excellent behaviour and the college boasts a wide range of co-curricular programs. Staff enjoy working with motivated students in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Role Highlights
  • Religious Education Learning Leader POL 2
    • Lead the development implementation and ongoing review of the Religious Education curriculum
    • Support the planning and delivery of liturgical celebrations retreats and reflection days
    • Build the capacity of staff through coaching and faith formation professional learning
  • Experience in a leadership role in a Catholic environment highly desirable
  • Ability to teach junior English or an additional subject highly desirable
  • Commencing August 2026
  • Leadership tenure until the end of 2027 with ongoing teaching position attached

Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications (e.g. Masters of Teaching / Bachelor of Education / PGCE)
  • Current VIT registration (or eligibility to gain)
  • Demonstrated experience teaching Religious Education
  • Accreditation to teach Religion (or willingness to gain) highly desirable
  • Working Rights for Australia (or eligibility to gain) including Skilled Migrant visa
