Rehabilitation Consultant

IPAR are seeking individuals with a professional background in Occupational Therapy Physiotherapy & Exercise Physiology interested in working in the Occupational Rehabilitation sector in Adelaide!

Providing occupational rehabilitation services to clients with a range of conditions both physical and psychological and supporting them to achieve return to health and return to work outcomes.

Some of your day to day includes:

• Case management (caseloads are manageable and our consultants have the support of Rehabilitation Assistants to alleviate administrative tasks); 
• Assisting those with an injury or health condition to achieve return to health and return to work outcomes;
• Liaise with employers case managers medical professionals and insurers to provide clinical updates and ensure alignment of rehabilitation goals.
• Work across various schemes such as workers compensation compulsory third party life insurance Comcare & Department of Veterans Affairs
• Conduct comprehensive ADL assessments to evaluate an individuals functional abilities and support needs within the home and/or community to promote their independence. Make recommendations for equipment home modifications or support services based on assessment findings.
• Prepare timely high-quality reports outlining findings recommendations and clinical reasoning.

Qualifications :

Youll be a driven and energetic professional with hopefully all of the qualities below!

• Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy Physiotherapy or Exercise Physiology
• Full Professional Registration with AHPRA or Full ESSA EP Accreditation or eligibility to obtain
• Previous experience working in Occupational Rehabilitation industry would be highly regarded however not essential
• Fabulous communication and time management skills - there is a lot of getting to know your clients and stakeholders
• You are someone with compassion kindness and empathy
• A current SA Drivers License and access to own car with comprehensive insurance is a must
