About the role

Calvary Health Care is seeking motivated and experienced Anaesthetic Nurses to join the dynamic Perioperative Suite at Calvary Adelaide Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a fast-paced and highly specialised environment committed to clinical excellence innovation and patient-centred care.

Our Perioperative Suite features 20 theatres and procedural areas providing exposure to a broad range of specialties including:

Orthopaedics General Surgery Neurosurgery Cardiothoracic Surgery Robotics ENT and Paediatrics

We are looking for passionate and adaptable nurses who thrive in a collaborative team environment and are committed to delivering outstanding patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality perioperative nursing care through assessment planning implementation and evaluation
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to achieve positive patient outcomes
  • Contribute to the coordination of care and support best practice clinical standards
  • Maintain accountability for professional practice and delegated care responsibilities
  • Support a culture of continuous improvement learning and teamwork

About You

  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Minimum 3 years experience in Perioperative Nursing with a focus on Anaesthetics
  • Postgraduate qualifications in Anaesthetics are highly regarded but not essential
  • Strong clinical knowledge and sound decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication interpersonal and customer service skills
  • A positive adaptable and team-focused approach
  • A genuine commitment to professional development and supporting others
