Fixed Term part-time (January 2027 to February 2028) Variable EFT available Ballarat and Horsham Campuses
$42.60 - $54.40 per hour (YP2 - YP9 YS12 - YS8)
About the Program:
Grampians Health is a major teaching and research health organisation which serves the whole ofWestern Victoria/Grampians region from Bacchus Marsh to the South Australian border. The service actively supports clinicaleducation and provides a range of learning opportunities postgraduate programs (affiliated withvarious universities)in addition to theTransition to Practice programs. The Registered Nurse/Registered Midwife Transition to Practice program is designed to:
- Provide support and guidance to the early entry career double degree RN/ RM.
- Develop self-confidence critical thinking decision making clinical skills and clinical competence as part of the multifaceted role of the Registered Nurse/Registered Midwife.
- Provide realistic learning experiences to consolidate professional and personal development per the standards of practice code of conduct and national accreditation standards in caring for women throughout their pregnancy birth postnatal period and infants requiring special care.
- Combine a practical and theoretical program to enable the early entry career RN/RM grounding in the nursing/midwifery profession
Skills & Experience
- Be eligible for registration as a Registered Nurse Division 1 with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and hold a current Practicing Certificate.
- Demonstrated clinical knowledge and skills commensurate with experience.
- Demonstrated organisational skills particularly with respect to time management.

This position is paid in accordance with the Nurses and Midwives (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2024 - 2028. The classification is Registered Nurse Grade 2 (YP2 - YP9) which ranges from $42.60 - $54.40 per hour.
