About the Facility

Parklands Aged Care is a 72bed home colocated with a retirement village set among landscaped gardens in a peaceful leafy environment. Residents enjoy spacious rooms villagestyle amenities such as café and hairdresser and a strong sense of community connection.
We are looking for Registered Nurse to join our aged care team at Parklands Aged Care in a Full Time capacity.

About the Role

As a Registered Nurse (RN) you will be a key clinical leader within our aged care team responsible for delivering safe high-quality and person-centred care to our residents. You will combine clinical expertise with compassion supporting residents health dignity and quality of life while guiding and supporting care staff in a fast-paced environment.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Provide comprehensive clinical care in line with best practice and aged care standards
  • Conduct assessments develop and review care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
  • Administer medications treatments and complex care interventions safely and accurately
  • Monitor interpret and respond to changes in residents health conditions
  • Lead support and mentor care staff to ensure high standards of resident care
  • Communicate effectively with residents families and healthcare professionals
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and reporting
  • Promote a culture of dignity respect and person-centred care

What You Will Bring

  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
  • Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent
  • Experience in aged care or a similar clinical setting (highly regarded)
  • Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities
  • Compassionate calm and professional approach to care
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to person-centred care and continuous improvement
  • A National Police Clearance or NDIS Screening Check or willingness to obtain this
