We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Perioperative Registered Nurse to join our team on a casual basis. In this role you will provide high-quality patient care across the perioperative setting working collaboratively with the wider clinical team to support safe and efficient surgical outcomes. Flexible shifts are available making this an excellent opportunity for nurses seeking casual work within a supportive and dynamic environment.
The Position
Deliver safe high-quality patient care across all stages of the perioperative journey.
Assist in providing efficient care within Anaesthetics Scrub/Scout Recovery (PACU) or Day Surgery areas according to your skills and experience.
Monitor assess and respond to patients clinical needs ensuring optimal outcomes and patient safety.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with hospital policies and professional standards.
Collaborate effectively with surgeons anaesthetists nursing colleagues and the multidisciplinary team.
Ensure compliance with infection prevention and control practices accreditation standards and workplace health and safety requirements.
Contribute to a positive team culture and support a patient-centred approach to care.
To succeed you will hold current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse experience and a demonstrated commitment to delivering high-quality patient-centred care. You will demonstrate a minimum of 2 years experience within a Perioperative speciality.
You will possess strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

The Benefits:
Casual rate $53.90 to $68.03 inclusive of casual loading plus 12% superannuation
