This role is best suited for perioperative Registered Nurse who is ready to take the next step in their career or has previous experience in a senior or coordinating role within a perioperative environment.

You will bring demonstrated clinical experience across the perioperative setting along with a strong understanding of theatre operations patient flow staffing coordination and safe clinical practice. Experience supporting or leading a team and working collaboratively with senior nursing leadership will be highly regarded.

About the role

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced perioperative Registered Nurse to join our leadership team as Registered Nurse level 2. Working closely with the Nurse Unit Manager and Perioperative Services Manager you will coordinate the daily operation of the perioperative suite ensuring safe patient flow efficient theatre utilisation and outstanding clinical care.

This is a Permanent Full-Time or Part-Time opportunity working across a rotating roster with participation in after-hours coordination as required.

Your main duties will include:

  • Coordinate daily theatre operations staffing and patient flow
  • Provide clinical leadership and support to the perioperative tea
  • Optimise theatre efficiency while maintaining quality and safety standards

About you

You will bring:

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Extensive perioperative nursing experience is essential
  • Strong leadership and decision-making skill
  • Experience coordinating staff and theatre workflows
  • Commitment to quality safety and patient-centred care
