About the role

Join a leading Level 6 Intensive Care Unit providing groundbreaking cardiac surgery a Level 2 Trauma Service and statewide ECMO and Heart & Lung Transplantation services where you will:

  • Provide excellent care to critically ill patients and their families in a fast-paced high-acuity environment

  • Work with a broad clinical mix of specialties including General Neuro Trauma Cardiothoracic and Transplantation

  • Provide high-touch care in a 1:1 or 2:1 nurse-to-patient setting where you can truly make a difference

  • Utilise our state-of-the-art equipment advanced monitoring systems and leading-edge medical technology

  • Receive ongoing education specialised training programs and enjoy a strong culture of learning and support

About you

  • Registered with the Australian Health Professionals Regulation Agency

  • 2 years experience in intensive care nursing and the holistic care of a sedated ventilated patient in a comparable service.

  • Proven skills in prioritising competing workloads in a complex environment

  • Committed to ongoing professional learning and development

  • Great teamwork and communication skills
