The opportunity

Were seeking a Recruitment Advisor who will continue to developour capability to attract and hire talent across various teamsnationally. This will mean creating and implementingstrategies to engage and build lasting relationships with talent inthe market helping partners and hiring managers to make soundhiring decisions and delivering an exceptional candidateexperience.

To be successful you must have solid recruitment experience andenjoy a hands-on end to end recruitment role in addition tocontributing to strategic talent engagement programs. Ourteam is highly collaborative dedicated and supportive and we arelooking for a new team member who shares these values. The role isoffered on a 12-month fixed termcontract.

Responsibilities

  • Responsibility for end-to-end recruitment for specified teams with the goal of increasing direct hiring and reducing the firms reliance on recruitment agencies
  • Prepare internal and external job advertisements web postings specifications for external recruitment agencies and job descriptions
  • Conduct candidate screening interviewing selection and onboarding
  • Manage communications with candidates ensuring a positive experience by communicating timely updates providing feedback and fostering transparency throughout the hiring process
  • Work alongside the National Early Talent Manager to assist with the annual summer clerk and Graduate recruitment processes
  • Assist with all logistics for the national graduate and summer clerk initiatives including but not limited to drafting and delivering presentations organising room bookings setting up interviews organising catering for events participating in interviews etc.
  • Co-ordinate and attend on campus visits and university events when possible. These may require travel within NSW and interstate.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years recruitment or HR experience in a law firm or corporate environment
  • Previous experience within early talent would be advantageous but not essential
  • Strong client service approach with the ability to professionally communicate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including proven ability to draft non-routine correspondence and documentation
  • Experience with e-recruitment systems
  • Tertiary qualifications in HR or related discipline
