Recoveries Claims Specialist
Job Summary
About the Role
The Recoveries Claims Specialist provides operational and technical support to the Chubb Recoveries Team ensuring all activities are carried out in line with Chubbs compliance and regulatory requirements. You will manage a portfolio of subrogation and recovery matters across all lines of business helping to drive effective outcomes and support the wider team.
In this role you will:
- Manage a portfolio of subrogation recovery claims for Chubb and/or regional entities.
- Communicate and negotiate effectively with third parties to maximize recovery results.
- Monitor claims to ensure timely development disposition and proper documentation in the recovery system.
- Negotiate compromise settlements where appropriate and comply with the Insurance Contracts Act and all relevant regulations.
Qualifications
What youll bring to the role
- Experience in commercial property claims experience with recovery claims experience an advantage
- Good negotiation communication analytical and numerical skills with effective case management ability.
- Ability to lead recovery efforts set and achieve ambitious goals and work within international matrix structures and decision-making processes.
