Youll work across our Tuggerah and Gosford clinics with part-time or casual options available for the right person.
THE ROLE
This isnt your average reception job. Yes youll be the first friendly face or voice our clients connect with helping create a warm and welcoming experience; but youll also play a vital role behind the scenes supporting our clinical team and helping to deliver high-quality care.
As a Receptionist at Beam your responsibilities will include:
- Managing reception duties including answering calls handling referrals and responding to client requests
- Greeting clients and families from diverse backgrounds age groups and presentations
- Creating a supportive and positive experience for clients and stakeholders
- Scheduling and rescheduling appointments
- Preparing and collecting key client paperwork
- Processing payments managing invoices Medicare claims and other fee payments
- Providing highly effective responsive and confidential support to the clinical team
- Liaising with GPs allied health and other professionals
- Managing electronic files scanning and record keeping
- Handling incoming and outgoing emails
- Keeping our clinic environment tidy welcoming and well-organised
- Travelling to other clinic locations for training meetings or occasional reception support
THE PERSON
Youre capable calm under pressure and confident juggling multiple tasks at once. Youre warm with people great in a team and able to work independently when needed.
Youll thrive in this role if you have:
- Previous experience in a medical allied health or similar setting
- Experience with Medicare rebates and an understanding of NDIS funding
- Confidence communicating with people from all walks of life including those who may be distressed
- A high level of discretion sensitivity and professionalism
- A warm presence and excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- High attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
- A current unrestricted drivers licence
As a condition of employment we require a cleared WWCC and NDIS Worker Check (were happy to help you apply if needed).
