Radiation Safety NORM – WA Opportunity

TEKK Group is currently seeking an experienced Radiation Safety / NORM professional for an ongoing opportunity supporting industrial and resource-sector operations in WA.

This position would suit someone with a background in radiation monitoring NORM environmental monitoring HSE or related field-based operations.

The role may involve:

• Radiation and contamination monitoring
• Field-based inspections and surveys
• NORM handling and management
• Maintaining radiation and safety records
• Monitoring and maintaining equipment
• Sample collection and documentation
• Supporting site safety and compliance requirements
• Assisting with inductions toolbox talks and safety activities
• Working alongside operational and HSE teams
• General reporting and administrative duties associated with field operations

Suitable candidates will have:

• Previous experience in radiation safety NORM mining oil & gas or a similar industry
• An understanding of radiation safety principles and procedures
• Experience with radiation monitoring equipment
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
• Good communication and reporting skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Current WA C Class drivers licence
• Flexibility to work varying hours when required

Hourly Rate: $60 $75 per hour

Rate will be dependent on experience qualifications and project requirements.

This is a casual/project-based opportunity with the potential for ongoing work for the right person.
