THE ROLE
An exciting opportunity exists for reliable experienced Quarry Operators to become an integral part of our team at our Port Lincoln Quarry. We are looking for quarry operators with experience in excavator crushing & screening and front-end loader (FEL). The work activities include but are not limited to hauling raw feed loading road trucks feeding the crushing and screening plant and basic maintenance. To be successful in this role you will have an uncompromising commitment to safety enjoy working in a small team be flexible and approachable and feel pride in doing a good job.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure safety health and environmental standards are maintained
- Complete pre-start checks
- Operate mobile plant and equipment
- Basic housekeeping and maintenance of quarry equipment
- Labouring duties
- Performing plant and process inspections
QUALIFICATIONS EXPERIENCE CAPABILITIES
- Demonstrated experienced in Excavator and Front-End Loader operations
- Previous crushing and screening experience (Desirable)
- Reliable and able to work long hours with over time opportunities
- Fit healthy and able to pass a full medical including drug and alcohol
