Quality Lead
Job Summary
About the Role
As the Quality Lead you will be responsible for maintaining and continuously improving site quality systems ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 customer requirements and Pact Group standards. You will lead quality assurance activities champion continuous improvement initiatives and partner closely with operational teams to resolve quality issues and drive sustainable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and maintain the site Quality Management System (QMS).
Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 customer regulatory and Pact Group requirements.
Champion a safety-first culture and support Zero Harm initiatives.
Drive QA/QC processes and oversee quality inspection activities.
Lead internal and external audits accreditation programs and compliance activities.
Manage non-conformances customer complaints CAPAs and quality investigations.
Analyse quality data and provide reporting insights and recommendations to leadership teams.
Maintain quality standards specifications and process control plans.
Oversee calibration programs for monitoring and measuring equipment.
Partner with production maintenance technical customer service and sales teams to improve quality performance.
Deliver training and coaching to build quality capability across the site.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on customer satisfaction waste reduction and operational efficiency.
About You
You are a hands-on quality professional with strong manufacturing experience and a passion for continuous improvement. You enjoy working collaboratively across teams and have the confidence to influence outcomes while maintaining high standards.
To be successful you will bring:
Experience managing quality systems within an ISO 9001-certified manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of quality assurance quality control auditing and compliance requirements.
Proven experience leading incident investigations and corrective actions.
Demonstrated success driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Strong analytical problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
A proactive results-focused approach with the ability to influence and engage others.
- Interest in sustainability and practices
QMS ISO 9001 & compliance experience
Qualifications :
SAP experience highly regarded.
Tertiary qualifications in Science Engineering Manufacturing or a related discipline.
Internal Auditor qualification preferred.
