Monday Wedneday & Friday - 7.45am until 4.45pm
Tuesdsay & Thursday - 11.30am until 8.30pm
Salary: Competitive dependent on experience

NXT Recruitment is working in partnership with a well-established and expanding manufacturing business in Penrith to recruit a Quality Assurance Technician. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing company where quality compliance and continuous improvement are central to its success.
The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining product quality standards carrying out inspections and testing procedures and supporting production teams to ensure products consistently meet customer and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities
- Perform regular inspections to ensure products meet quality standards and specifications
- Conduct visual and functional checks to identify defects inconsistencies or non-conformities
- Carry out routine testing sampling and monitoring activities on products and equipment
- Accurately record inspection findings test results and quality data
- Investigate quality concerns and support root cause analysis activities
- Assist with internal audits and compliance checks
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and recommend process enhancements
- Work closely with production teams to maintain quality standards throughout manufacturing processes
- Ensure all quality procedures are followed in line with company policies and regulatory requirements
- Support management in maintaining a safe compliant and efficient production environment
Requirements
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to identify issues that may otherwise be overlooked
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Methodical and process-driven approach to work
- Ability to maintain high standards of accuracy and consistency
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Reliable and dependable with a strong work ethic
Desirable Skills
- Previous experience within quality assurance quality control manufacturing or food production environments
- Knowledge of quality standards audits and compliance procedures
- Experience conducting inspections testing or sampling activities
- Understanding of continuous improvement principles
