What would I be doing

The Quality and Assurance Manager leads and coordinates all audit activities as well as managing and implementing improvement projects and initiatives that enhance service delivery sustainability and efficiencies. The role ensures conformance with legislative regulatory and contractual requirements to maintain ongoing certification and support the provision of high-quality services to our clients.

This could include:

  • Manage and coordinate internal & external audit activities to assess conformance with standards legislation and regulations.
  • Manage and maintain the continuous improvement register through collaboration and coaching of managers to determine relevant actions.
  • Manage and implement improvement projects and initiatives regarding assurance and quality uplift.
  • Convene the Audit Committee and deliver regular updates and reports to identify trends themes and continuous improvement recommendations.
  • Maintain knowledge of changes to relevant legislation reforms practice standards customer requirements and provide recommendations and communication about changes.

What youll need

  • Relevant audit risk or quality management qualifications.
  • Knowledge or experience working in human services. Disability and aged care sector is desirable.
  • Experience in a similar role managing audits and driving continuous improvement culture.
  • Capacity to travel to conduct quality and assurance activities and training.
  • Knowledge or experience working in the disability or not-for-profit sectors (desirable).
  • A passion for people and a focus on great customer service.
  • A commitment to working together to deliver great outcomes.
  • Great listening and respectful communication skills.
