The Position
As a Quality Advisor at VMCH you will partner closely with Care at Home operational leaders to strengthen quality safety compliance and continuous improvement across the division. Acting as a trusted advisor you will provide practical evidence-based advice that supports quality outcomes regulatory compliance and operational effectiveness.
Success in this role requires a balanced approach that combines strong regulatory knowledge with operational understanding and commercial awareness ensuring compliance is embedded as an enabler of high-quality service delivery.

The responsibilities
- Partner with Care at Home leaders to drive quality safety compliance and continuous improvement outcomes.
- Act as a trusted advisor providing practical and balanced advice that supports quality outcomes regulatory compliance and operational effectiveness.
- Support accreditation certification audits and regulatory compliance activities.
- Monitor quality and risk trends providing practical recommendations to improve service delivery.
- Provide expert guidance on aged care standards legislation and best practice.
- Promote a culture where compliance is viewed as an enabler of high-quality service delivery rather than a standalone function.
- Build strong stakeholder relationships and influence positive change across the organisation.
Whats Required
- Bachelor of Nursing and current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Experience in quality compliance or management within Support at Home aged care or community services
- Knowledge of aged care regulatory frameworks quality systems risk management and compliance requirements
- Experience supporting accreditation certification audit activities and continuous improvement initiatives
- Strong stakeholder engagement communication and influencing skills with the ability to translate legislative requirements into practical operational solutions
- Strong commercial and operational awareness with the ability to balance compliance requirements with service delivery outcomes.
- Current Victorian Driver Licence.
