Job Description
Professional Search Group (PSG) is currently looking for an experienced Python Developer to help design build and scale the services that power its AI-driven video analytics platform. Working closely with AI and machine learning teams youll play a key role in architecting production systems deploying ML models and driving technical excellence across the engineering team.
Key Responsibilities
- Design build and maintain scalable backend services using Python
- Own architectural decisions around performance reliability and scalability
- Develop and optimise PostgreSQL/MySQL databases
- Deploy and operate containerised services using Docker
- Work alongside AI engineers to productionise machine learning models
- Mentor engineers and contribute to engineering best practices
What Were Looking For
- 5 years backend software engineering experience
- Strong Python development skills
- Experience designing and operating production systems
- Strong database knowledge (PostgreSQL/MySQL)
- Experience with Docker and containerised environments
- Exposure to deploying ML models into production
- Collaborative mindset with strong mentoring capabilities
