• Starting salary of $115000 per annum plus up to 15.75% superannuation commensurate with skills and experience.

About therole:

As the Public Health Coordinatoryou will lead the Citys Public Health Team and play a pivotal rolein protecting and enhancing the health safety and wellbeing of ourcommunity. This is a strategic leadership position that combinesregulatory expertise people leadership and community impact.

The role supports the achievementof the Citys strategic objectives through effective servicedelivery stakeholder engagement legislative compliance workforceleadership and implementation of evidence-informed public healthinitiatives.

What youll bring to therole:

The ideal candidate will align withthe Citys Values and be able to demonstrate the belowcompetencies:

• Bachelor of Science (Environmental Health) or equivalent qualification recognised by the Chief Health Officer of Western Australia for appointment as an Authorised Officer under the Public Health Act 2016.
• Demonstrated experience in environmental health public health or regulatory services including substantial experience in the interpretation and application of relevant legislation.
• Demonstrated leadership and people management experience including staff supervision performance management mentoring and team development.
• Demonstrated experience in policy development strategic planning and organisational continuous improvement.

Pre-employmentrequirements:

• Current C Class Drivers Licence.
• National Police Clearance (less than six months old).
• Proof of right to work in Australia.
• Pre-employment medical (arranged and paid for by the City).
