As part of our Shared Services group comprised of Finance Marketing Communications Human Resources Commercial Legal and Facilities we support the business achieve their goals through a range of strong technical capabilities. We ensure delivery of services through the skills of our people methodologies and systems.

Hatch is looking for an experienced Proposal Team Lead to join our global Client Action Team (CAT) in this role you will lead strategic proposals across the Australia-Asia region guide and develop a high-performing proposal team and help position Hatch to win our most important opportunities. Working closely with pursuit teams and business leaders youll manage the end-to-end proposal process balance regional resources and contribute to CATs global proposal leadership network. This role is ideal for a strategic proposal professional who combines strong people leadership with a passion for delivering winning submissions.

As the successful candidate you will:

• Lead the proposal process from RFP receipt through submission and post-submission support.
• Partner with Pursuit Managers to develop proposal plans schedules and compliance requirements.
• Facilitate proposal kick-offs review sessions strategy workshops and progress meetings.
• Shape compelling proposal content win themes and client-focused messaging.
• Review submissions to ensure quality compliance consistency and accuracy.
• Identify and manage risks that may impact proposal quality or deadlines.
• Lead post-submission clarifications debriefs and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide leadership coaching and mentoring to the regional proposal team.
• Manage proposal resourcing and workload priorities across the AUA region.
• Support collaboration across the global CAT network and promote proposal best practices.
• Provide guidance on related CAT processes including CRM and pursuit governance.

About You
You hold a degree or diploma in Business Communications Marketing or a related discipline along with extensive experience leading complex proposals within a professional services environment. You are a strong writer communicator and relationship builder who can influence stakeholders at all levels and bring teams together around a shared pursuit strategy. You have demonstrated experience leading and developing proposal professionals balancing competing priorities and delivering high-quality submissions in a fast-paced environment. Advanced Microsoft Office skills are essential while experience with SharePoint Adobe Creative Cloud CRM platforms and the engineering consulting industry will be highly regarded. Most importantly you are a proactive leader who thrives on helping teams succeed and win work.
