Property Assistant

Were looking for a proactive and hands-on Property Assistant to join our friendly team at Summerset Chirnside Park. In this full-time role youll play a key part in maintaining the high standards Summerset takes pride in helping to keep our village safe beautiful and running smoothly.

Youll work closely with the Property Manager to support a wide range of maintenance and gardening tasks across the village. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety problem-solving and the satisfaction of a job well done.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting with general property and garden maintenance
• Helping with building maintenance and refurbishments
• Assisting with landscaping gardening and ground care tasks
• Taking part in property inspections and reporting safety or maintenance issues
• Communicating clearly and respectfully with residents team members and contractors

This is a Monday to Friday 8:00am 4:30pm position. Youll be part of a collaborative and supportive team who work together to create a village our residents are proud to call home.

Qualifications :

Were looking for someone practical approachable and dependable with the ability to take initiative and complete a variety of tasks efficiently. This role would suit someone looking to shift into a stable role that takes pride in their work and surroundings. Someone who likes to engage with people in the village and their home and create a people-first environment.

Youll be successful in this role if you have:

• Experience in property maintenance and gardening
• Strong DIY or trade skills part trade qualified preferred
• A current drivers licence
• The ability to work independently and take pride in your work
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
