Are you seeking a role with a values-driven for purpose organisation where you can support young people in our community Apply your facilities and property expertise to ensure the smooth and efficient running of Brisbane Youth Service.

The Property and Facilities Officer provides daytoday operational administrative and facilities support across the organisation. The role also works collaboratively with the Operations team more broadly to provide flexible and responsive support as required.

*This is a full-time onsite position.

Youll be a great candidate for this role if you have:

  • A Diploma or tertiary qualification in Administration IT Business Studies OR substantial demonstrated experience in a related field.
  • The ability to develop maintain and follow SOPs ensuring consistent compliant practices across operations with strong attention to detail and clear documentation supporting quality and improvement.
  • Sound understanding of asset management including tracking and maintaining equipment registers ensuring accurate records lifecycle oversight and accountability across organisational assets.
  • A working knowledge of WHS obligations supporting compliance tasks such as test and tag coordination record maintenance and proactive risk management to uphold safe workplaceseffectively well.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills confidently liaising with internal teams and external providers to coordinate tasks resolve issues and maintain strong professionalrelationships.
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environments with proficiency in business systems like Microsoft Office and SharePoint and flexibility to travel and work onsite.

Given the work that we do there will be few non-negotiables. Youll need to be able to have or obtain prior to commencement:

  • A Working with Children Suitability Card Blue Card.
  • A National Coordinated Criminal History Check Police Check.
  • Evidence of vaccination immunity or medical exemption for the following preventable diseases Measles Mumps Rubella and Varicella Chicken Pox; and Pertussis Whooping Cough.
