Our client is a leading developer-builder based in NSW dedicated to delivering boutique Class 2 Residential Projects. The company emphasises strong site leadership safety standards and quality workmanship ensuring that every project is completed to the highest standards. As a Project Manager/ Estimator you will play a vital role in their operations by accurately estimating costs and managing tender processes for construction projects. Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing trade packages and tender documentation for subcontractors and suppliers.
- You take full ownership of projects from brief to delivery.
- Managing tender processes to ensure fairness and transparency.
- Reviewing quotations to confirm they meet the required scope of work.
- Maintaining accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQs) across all trades.
- Conducting site visits to verify progress and assess subcontractor invoices.
- Collaborating with teams to evaluate methodologies and identify value engineering opportunities.
- Utilising Cubit estimating software for accurate measurements and cost breakdowns.
- Preparing cost reports and maintaining documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in end-to-end construction estimation for Class 2 residential projects. You will also possess the following skills and attributes:
- 3 years of experience in project management and/or construction estimating.
- A qualification in project management a construction trade or a related field.
- Managed projects end-to-end from scoping and planning through to execution.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and coordinate tenders efficiently.
- Proactive problem-solver with strong initiative and follow-through.
- Collaborative team player who liaises effectively across teams and stakeholders.
