Project Manager

About the role

Join us and deliver projects that matter. Reporting to the Portfolio Manager you will play a key role in leading the successful delivery of strategic projects ensuring outcomes are achieved on time within budget and to the highest quality standards. Working within the SJGHC Project Governance Framework you will manage project lifecycles from initiation through to closure while partnering with stakeholders across all levels of the organisation including executives clinicians and external vendors.

This role requires a proactive and commercially minded project professional who can effectively manage project governance financial performance risk and change management procurement activities and vendor relationships. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining key project documentation facilitating governance and steering committee meetings and driving collaboration across multidisciplinary teams to deliver sustainable business outcomes.

The role is offered on a permanent full-time basis working 38 hours per week.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the successful delivery of projects ensuring outcomes are achieved on time within budget and to a high standard.

• Manage project planning and execution including scheduling resource allocation prioritisation and delivery coordination.

• Oversee project financials tracking budgets forecasts actuals and reporting on performance.

• Build and lead high-performing project teams providing coaching mentoring and direction to achieve project goals.

• Engage and influence stakeholders fostering strong relationships to drive successful project outcomes.

• Manage project risks issues and scope changes ensuring effective governance and informed decision-making.

• Prepare and present project reports supporting governance forums and keeping stakeholders informed of progress.

• Collaborate with internal teams vendors and external partners to ensure the right resources capabilities and support are in place for success.

Your skills and experience

To thrive in this role youll be a passionate and experienced Project Manager with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects in dynamic environments. Backed by a relevant tertiary qualification and PRINCE2 (or equivalent) certification you will be confident leading cross-functional teams navigating competing priorities and turning strategic objectives into tangible outcomes.

Equally important is your ability to build trusted relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels. A strong communicator with a commercial mindset youll bring exceptional organisational skills sound judgement and the confidence to drive projects forward while keeping teams aligned engaged and focused on success.

Experience within the healthcare sector will be highly regarded as will your ability to work effectively with diverse teams and contribute positively to a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.

• Salary: $128800 to $143100 plus 12% superannuation

• Permanent Full-Time role working 38 hours a week.
