Responsibilities

As a Project Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of high voltage substation and renewable energy projects. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Developing comprehensive project plans timelines and budgets.
• Leading project teams and coordinating activities among various stakeholders.
• Monitoring project progress identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
• Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and safety requirements.

• Providing technical expertise in electrical engineering and renewable energy systems.
• Assisting with design construction and commissioning activities.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will need:

• A Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering and/or a Project Management Diploma.
• 5-10 years of experience in project management particularly in high voltage renewable energy and carbon neutrality projects.
• Strong management and leadership skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proven problem-solving skills and a proactive organised approach to work.
• A thorough understanding of relevant Australian regulations and standards.

Day-to-Day

Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Collaborating with clients contractors and internal teams to ensure project alignment.
• Monitoring project milestones and addressing any challenges that arise.
• Conducting site visits to oversee construction and commissioning activities.
• Preparing and delivering progress reports to stakeholders.
• Ensuring all projects adhere to safety and compliance standards.
• Managing budgets and timelines to ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within scope.
