We are seeking ahigh performing Project Maintenance Manager from a proven Mechanical background. What your day looks like:

  • Manage the performance and availability of equipment to achieve both operational and financial company objectives.
  • Manage and co-ordinate employees and facilities to ensure preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs are performed in a timely cost effective and professional manner.
  • Monitor and ensure the necessary manning levels and equipment are available to perform the planned tasks.
  • Ensure project reporting is completed: monthly project progress reports to the client and internally including safety performance manning and QA/QC.
  • Take responsibility for maximising the performance of the maintenance team providing leadership and technical support.
  • Support site-based HR activities including recruitment of potential employees.
  • Actively demonstrate and promote a high level of safety awareness and encourage safe work practices
  • Working with Emeco customers and stakeholders to meet larger organisational objectives.

What well need from you:

  • A relevant nationally recognised Trade certificate holding extensive experience with the maintenance of heavy earth moving equipment frequently utilised within the mining industry.
  • Mining Supervisor Certifications G1 G8 G9 and G2.
  • Standard 11 Competency.
  • Minimum 5 years heavy workshop and field maintenance experience in a managerial capacity being a strong leader with the ability to mentor coach and delegate tasks
  • Ability to influence and communicate effectively across all layers of an organisation and with any stakeholder group.
  • Set and implement clear standards of integrity consistently dedemostrating behaviours supporting organisational values and address inappropriate behaviour actions.
  • Proven strong client management and liaison skills holding a good understanding of customer operations and equipment usage.
  • Knowledge of what drives equipment productivity in the mining environment.
  • Solid understanding of HSET standards within QLD mining.
