Project Manager Industrial

Synergie Australia is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the delivery of a key industrial recommissioning project alongside a number of smaller capital and site improvement projects in Darwin.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone with experience across industrial processing manufacturing waste or heavy operational environments with responsibility for projects from planning through to commissioning and handover.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Manage the day-to-day delivery of capital recommissioning and improvement projects.
• Develop and maintain project schedules milestones and priorities.
• Coordinate contractors vendors materials and site resources.
• Manage project scope variations budgets and forecast costs.
• Coordinate mechanical electrical civil and operational workstreams.
• Ensure contractor documentation SWMS/JSEAs permits isolations and LOTO requirements are compliant.
• Manage project risks issues and actions.
• Work closely with Operations HSE Engineering Procurement and external contractors.
• Support commissioning safety reviews operational handover and project close-out.
• Provide regular reporting across progress costs risks and upcoming milestones.

Were looking for someone with:

• Previous Project Management experience within an industrial or heavy operational environment.
• Experience delivering brownfield capital or plant improvement projects.
• Strong contractor and vendor management skills.
• Experience managing schedules budgets variations and project risks.
• Understanding of permits isolations LOTO and contractor safety requirements.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Current Australian Drivers Licence and White Card.
• Relevant Engineering Construction or Project Management qualifications or equivalent industry experience.

A mechanical or process engineering background would be highly regarded as would experience across electrical automation plant commissioning or recommissioning projects.
