Project Manager | Hands on | Field Service (Pumps)
Job Summary
About the Role: Were looking for a Project Manager to lead a field service crew working on pump installation and repair across Central Coast water treatment sites. This is not a desk-based PM role youll be the companys rep on site running the job day-to-day and working hands-on alongside the crew. If youre after a suit-and-laptop project management gig this isnt it. If you want to lead from the front and still get stuck in it is.
What Youll Be Doing:
- Leading and coordinating a 3-man field service crew (fitter electrician and yourself) on-site day to day
- Getting hands-on with installation fault-finding and repair of pumps motors and associated equipment
- Acting as the companys on-site representative liaising directly with the clients site supervisors and engineers
- Planning and sequencing daily work to meet job deadlines and client requirements
- Ensuring safety compliance is followed on site including JSEAs permits to work isolations and risk assessments
- Reviewing and signing off service reports job notes and photographic evidence of completed work
- Ordering parts and materials and coordinating logistics for the crew
- Mentoring and upskilling less experienced crew members on site

Required Skills:
Trade-qualification (Mechanical/Plumbing/Electrical) Holds a White Card Confined Spaces ticket (or willing to obtain) Working at Heights ticket (or willing to obtain) At least 1 year post-trade experience working in the pump industry or some exposure to pumps Experience working on water treatment jobs highly regarded MR licence highly regarded On-the-job training provided for candidates with lighter pump experience
