Project Manager (Defects) Temporary Opportunity up to 23 months

Youll have the opportunity to use your expertise in communication problem-solving empathy and conflict resolution to help thousands of people every day.

In this role youll:

Lead the delivery of complex defects and operational projects across the Sydney Metro network working collaboratively with a variety of internal and external stakeholders including engineering commercial operations safety and delivery teams to achieve successful outcomes. The role is responsible for managing project scope risks stakeholder relationships and governance requirements while driving practical solutions to complex issues and ensuring projects are delivered in line with operational commercial and customer objectives.

This position is a fixed term postition based in George St Sydney NSW ending 30/06/2028. This will require presence on-site as required also.

About you

You are a proactive and solutions focused project management expert with experience delivering complex infrastructure engineering asset or operational projects. You have strong stakeholder management skills and are confident navigating challenging conversations balancing competing priorities and influencing outcomes where responsibility risk and delivery obligations may be disputed. You will bring strong communication negotiation and problem solving skills to build practical customer focused solutions in a complex environment.
