TheManager AML Compliance Project Managementwillsupportthe Program Director inthe development of processes systems and strategies related to Western UnionAustraliascompliance withlocal financial crimeregulationsWestern Unions global policiesand industry best practices.

An opportunity to join Western Unions Compliance Team on a full-time basis for a24-month period.

Role Responsibilities:

• Managecomponents ofa complex largefinancial crime compliance upliftproject.

• Lead/coordinatecore projectactivitiesincludinggapanalysis solution design documentationissueresolutionresource planning progress trackingstatus reporting implementationchangemanagement and postimplementation reviewand closure.

• Monitor/evaluate project progressmaintainproject documentation and develop presentations for communication.

Role Requirements:

• Minimumfive years ofexperience managingfinancialcrimecompliance uplift/remediationprojects in a complex retail/consumer financial services organisationwith multiple products in payment servicesideally in amultinational institution.

• Practical experiencein developing and executingproject managementmethodology.

• Substantiveunderstanding ofAustralian AML/CTFregulations within thefinancial services industry.

• Excellent communicationsand presentationskills;ability to create change through influence foster teamwork and orchestrate teams;demonstrateeffective interpersonal skills ability to earn the trust of leadershipbusinesspartnersand relevant subject matter experts.

• Strong customer-centric viewpointand highly motivatedtoidentifyingand pursuing process efficiencies.

• A degree in commerce business law finance risk compliance or equivalent.

• Ability to adapt working hours toprioritiseinteractions with global stakeholderslocatedin otherjurisdictionsasrequired.

• Proven ability to work autonomously withhigh levelof attention to detail as well as contributetoa team setting alongside other riskcomplianceand project management personnel.

Work Shift
