About the Role:
Join the Umwelt Finance Team on a3 day a weekmaxterm contract through to February 2027 and play a pivotal role in supporting ourprojectbasedoperations. We are seeking an experienced Finance Administrator / Project Finance Officer toassistwith project and proposal setup budget management and the administration of financial data across the full lifecycle of our projects.
In this role you willbe responsible formaintainingthe accuracy and integrity of financial data within our ERP project management systemidentifyingpotential financial risks or issues and contributing to practical business solutions. You will also support the continuous improvement of financial operations and transactional processes helping to ensure efficienthighqualityoutcomes for the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer theaccurateandtimelycreation ofproposal andprojects within our ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning)in accordance withthe contractand work breakdown structure (WBS)
- Work with Project Managers throughout the project lifecycle to drive efficient and effective client invoicing in line with project plans and agreements
- Prepare and provide financial analysis and information toassistproject managers and support commercial decisions
- Support project managers across a portfolio of projects of varying complexities sizes and values
- Contribute to the achievement of the broader Finance team goals
- Work in harmony with Umwelts valuesobjectives policies and procedures
About You:
- Minimum 4 years experience in project finance administration or a similar role
- Experience working with multiple consulting projects or other project financial work
- Proven history of overseeing entire project lifecycles using work breakdown structures and having a good understanding of standard project management processes
- Experience in working within an ERP
- Well-developed time management skills
- Strong organisation skills to succeed at managing multiple ongoing tasks
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft 365 suite (Teams Word Excel)
- Experience using Project Management software will be highly regarded
This position requires excellent skills in engaging with stakeholders as well as experience in project finance.
