What youll do

As aProject Engineer for our Mining & Metals division based in our Gladstone officeyoullcontributetoprojects and programs thatmake a real difference and be part ofateamthat embraces challenges welcomes diverse ideas and engineer solutions with people and outcomes in mind.

• Coordinate the delivery of multiple small-to-medium engineering projects and work packages across the Gladstone portfolio.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (mechanical piping electrical and structural) to ensure seamless project execution and delivery.

• Lead project planning activities including proposals scheduling resource allocation budgeting and task coordination.

• Maintain strong client relationships with key stakeholders while providing regular project updates and reporting.

• Oversee engineering deliverables to ensure technical quality safety environmental compliance and adherence to regulatory standards.

• Identify and manage project risks resolve technical and site-based issues and support the development of local capability and team leadership within the Gladstone region.

What youll bring

• Relevant qualifications in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with exposure to mechanical/piping and electrical projects in mining oil and gas or broader industrial sectors.

• RPEQ would be highly regarded.

• 10 years engineering experience with the capability to operate at a senior project delivery level.

• Strong project delivery and management skills including coordinating multidisciplinary teams schedules budgets deliverables and client expectations.

• Solid engineering foundation combined with practical problem-solving risk management and decision-making abilities.

• Excellent communication stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills with a hands-on and adaptable approach to working in a regional client environment.
