Project Info
The Wave Stage 1 will deliver 19km of dual-track heavy rail between Beerwah and Caloundra connecting the Sunshine Coast to Brisbane for the first time. ACCIONA as part of the CoastalTraX consortium is delivering design and pre-construction works ahead of major construction from mid-2027 supporting the regions growth and the Brisbane 2032 Games.
About Opportunity
Reporting to the Project Controls Manager youll support and maintain project control systems including LinkedSite LinkedOffice and SEO covering requisitions timesheets cost capture and reporting. Youll train and support project stakeholders including subcontractors and partners in using these tools correctly. The role includes cost control support month-end reporting and identifying process improvements working closely with the commercial team and the regional Project Controls Manager.
Key accountabilities for the position will be:
- Maintain and support project control systems and data integrity
- Deliver training on LinkedSite and LinkedOffice to stakeholders
- Manage month-end reporting and keep records current
- Support cost control procedures and project forecasting
- Assist commercial team with claims and modifications
- Identify improvement opportunities and propose corrective action
- Support financial audits and maintain project CBS
Required Skills and Competencies
What capability & experience will you need to have:
- Vocational training or degree in business finance or accounting
- 2-3 years experience in a similar role
- English/Spanish language proficiency (B2 level)
- Advanced Office Suite SAP ERP and Power BI skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
