About You

This role will play a key role in supporting the planning mobilisation and delivery of projects aligned to RMITs Living Places Plan an ambitious initiative that will shape the future of our campuses learning environments and student experience.

This is an opportunity to contribute to a diverse portfolio of projects ranging from teaching and research spaces through to campus-wide planning initiatives working alongside experienced professionals across campus planning capital works property and design.

Reporting to the Associate Director Campus Planning you will provide project coordination and planning support across a range of campus precinct and accommodation planning initiatives.

You will work closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into project briefs coordinate project activities and documentation support stakeholder engagement processes and assist with the development of spatial planning concepts and investment proposals.

This role is ideally suited to someone with experience in architecture campus planning property development capital works or project coordination who enjoys working across multiple projects in a collaborative and purpose-driven environment.

To be successful in this position youll have/ youll have as a minimum:

• Experience coordinating projects within architecture campus planning property design construction or capital works environments.

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes to deadlines.

• Experience maintaining project documentation including schedules action registers risk logs and reporting materials.

• Well-developed stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.

• Excellent written communication skills with the ability to prepare professional project documentation and presentations.

About the Group

Property Services is located in the Operations Portfolio which is the services nucleus of RMIT and the focus for the development of the finance people development infrastructure and systems that provide administrative capacity to the University.

Property Services has approximately 100 staff and has the responsibility to operate maintain and enhance the buildings owned and leased by RMIT University oversee construction projects and ensure the provision of physical facilities services
