THE ORGANISATION

As Australias peak national organisation for the communityHIV and LGBTIQA health response Health Equity Matters supports memberorganisations working with lesbian gay bisexual transgender and intersexcommunities people living with HIV sex workers people who use drugs andAboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. Through advocacy policyand health promotion it leads Australias effort to end HIV transmission andpromote the health of its communities.

In the Asia Pacific region Health Equity Matters uses thesame strengths to promote effective policy strengthen local communityleadership and support communities in their work in HIV health and humanrights.

ABOUT SKPA-2

The SKPA-2 program is a multi-country initiative supported by theGlobal Fund to Fight AIDS Tuberculosis and Malaria focused on strengtheningthe sustainability of HIV responses for key populations in Asia. Currently the program is implemented across Malaysia Bhutan and Sri Lankaworking in partnership with national HIV programs and community-ledorganisations. It supports activities across HIV prevention community systemsstrengthening and enabling environments.

ABOUT THIS ROLE

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive ProgramsOfficer to provide administrative coordination andprogram support across the SKPA-2 program.

The role supports day-to-dayimplementation coordination with subrecipients and partners and internalprogram processes while also taking responsibility for specific tasks anddiscrete activities to support overall program delivery as required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Program Officer will be responsible for:

• Support day-to-day coordination of SKPA-2activities tracking progress against workplans and timelines
• Maintain program trackers and coordinate inputsfrom partners and subrecipients across countries
• Support communication coordination andreporting with regional partners and stakeholders
• Organise and support meetings workshops andregional program activities
• Monitor subrecipient deliverables follow up onoutstanding items and flag risks or delays
• Assist with Global Fund compliancedocumentation and program risk management
• Support data collection reporting anddevelopment of program materials and communications
• Assist with consultant coordination contractsand deliverables
• Support planning and coordination ofin-country visits meetings and workshops.
• Provide coordination and administrative support during international program travel where required.

Selection Criteria

• Tertiary qualification in public healthinternational development social sciences or a related field (or nearcompletion).
• Approximately 25 years relevant experience(including internships or early-career roles).
• Strong organisational and coordination skillswith attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communicationskills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meetdeadlines.
• Ability to work both independently andcollaboratively in a team environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Teams (orsimilar collaboration tools).
• Interest in global health and/or internationaldevelopment.

Additional Requirements

• Capacity to travelwithin South Asia and Southeast Asia region.
• Hold a current and valid passport
