Program Manager Whistleblower Protection and Competition Compliance
Job Summary
Reporting to the Program Director and Head of Transformation (LIRRICS) this role provides independent oversight of the Whistleblower Protection and Competition Law Compliance Programs ensuring alignment with legislative obligations and organisational standards.
The role engages with senior leaders legal and risk stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and support Board and executive-level reporting. This position offers flexibility and may be undertaken on a full-time or part-time basis (3 4 or 5 days per week).
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain the whistleblower protection framework ensuring compliance with relevant legislation policies and organisational standards.
- Act as the Whistleblower Protection Program Manager overseeing the receipt assessment management and reporting of whistleblower disclosures while maintaining confidentiality and appropriate protections.
- Serve as the Competition Compliance Officer supporting the design implementation monitoring and enhancement of the Competition Law Compliance Program.
- Monitor emerging regulatory requirements risks and industry developments providing guidance and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Develop and deliver training awareness and education initiatives that promote whistleblower protection and competition law compliance.
- Prepare high-quality reporting and insights for senior leadership executive committees Board committees and other governance forums.
What You Will Bring
- Demonstrated experience in compliance governance legal risk or regulatory roles within a complex corporate environment.
- Strong understanding of whistleblower protection obligations compliance frameworks and regulatory governance practices.
- Experience implementing managing or enhancing compliance programs investigations frameworks or risk management initiatives.
- Ability to interpret legislation assess risk and translate regulatory requirements into practical business outcomes.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence and build trusted relationships across all levels of an organisation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills including experience preparing reports and presentations for executive and Board-level audiences.
- High levels of integrity discretion and sound judgement with a commitment to ethical decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Relevant qualifications in Law Governance Risk Compliance or a related discipline will be highly regarded.
