THE ROLE

This is an exceptional opportunity to lead a diverse suite of integrated programs working alongside skilled practitioners and partner organisations to improve outcomes for women children and young people affected by domestic violence.

Reporting to the Senior Manager Integrated Programs Early Intervention and Recovery the Program Manager is responsible for leadership management and coordination of service delivery and administrative functions across six integrated programs: the Domestic Violence Disclosure Scheme (DVDS) Safety Accountability & Responsibility Through Integration (SARTI) Womens Safety Contact Program (WSCP) Multi Agency Protection Service (MAPS) Safe and Well Kids (SAWK) and the DFV Partner Contact Program (DFV-PCP).

The role provides operational leadership across a diverse portfolio of programs ensuring the delivery of high-quality client-centred services that support women children and young people impacted by domestic and family violence. Working closely with staff partner agencies and key stakeholders the Program Manager drives service innovation strengthens collaborative responses and contributes to the ongoing development of best practice service delivery.

This full time position promotes and maintains a positive accountable and productive workplace culture through effective leadership sound decision-making and a commitment to continuous improvement. The role also has significant responsibility for stakeholder engagement program governance contract management and the development of strong partnerships that enhance outcomes for clients and strengthen WSSSAs reputation as a leader in domestic and family violence services.

ABOUT YOU

You are a passionate and experienced people leader who enjoys working at the intersection of service delivery partnership development and program innovation. You thrive in collaborative environments and are motivated by the opportunity to lead programs that improve outcomes for women children and young people impacted by domestic and family violence. As a key member of the WSSSA leadership team you will be equally comfortable leading staff managing complex stakeholder relationships and driving continuous improvement across a diverse portfolio of programs.

To be considered for this position you will bring significant leadership and program management experience together with a demonstrated commitment to high-quality service delivery. Key requirements include:

• A degree level qualification in Social Work Psychology Counselling Human Services or a related discipline and/or equivalent experience commensurate with the requirements of the role;
• Significant experience in managing teams and developing implementing and overseeing programs supporting women children and young people affected by domestic and family violence;
• Highly developed stakeholder engagement and partnership management skills with the ability to build effective relationships across government community and research sectors;
• Experience in program planning monitoring evaluation and reporting including data analysis and outcomes measurement;
• Demonstrated ability engage respectfully and effectively with diverse and highly vulnerable communities including First Nations People and culturally and linguistically diverse communities;
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to negotiate advocate influence and resolve complex issues;
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities across multiple programs and stakeholders;
• A current full Australian drivers licence and be eligible for or hold a DHS Working with Children Check and National Police Clearance.
