About the Role
As the Product Strategy Manager youll play a key role in shaping the future of HBFs product portfolio. Working closely with senior leaders across the business youll design and evolve products and propositions that meet member needs while supporting long-term strategic goals. This is a highly collaborative and forward-looking role where youll turn complex insights into clear actionable recommendations and drive initiatives from concept through to delivery.
In this role you will:
Develop business cases and strategic recommendations for new products product and pricing changes and other portfolio initiatives
Conduct product and performance analysis delivering actionable insights to optimise portfolio performance
Contribute to the development and delivery of the product and proposition roadmap
Monitor and analyse product performance identifying trends risks and opportunities
Lead the design and development of integrated product propositions working with stakeholders across the business
Research and analyse market trends member behaviour and regulatory changes to identify opportunities and drive future strategy
Influence senior stakeholders and governance forums to gain endorsement and drive outcomes
This position is based in Perth on a permanent full-time basis.
About You
Youre a commercially minded and strategic thinker who thrives in a complex fast-paced environment. With strong analytical capability and excellent communication skills youre able to translate data into meaningful insights and influence decision-making at a senior level. You enjoy working collaboratively bringing people together to deliver innovative solutions that improve performance and member outcomes.
Ideally you will have:
Tertiary qualifications in business commerce economics data analytics or a related discipline
Proven experience in product portfolio or strategy roles within a regulated environment (e.g. insurance or financial services)
Strong commercial acumen with experience developing business cases and strategic recommendations
Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends
Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with experience influencing senior leaders
Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts
