About the role:
We are offering multiplefull-time and part-time Procurement Officer roles with hoursranging from 19 to 38 per this position you will supportthe delivery of compliant efficient and value-for-moneyprocurement outcomes across the City. Working with a range ofbusiness units you will help source goods and services establishpanels and contracts and strengthen procurement and contractadministration practices.

These newly created roles support the rollout of a centralisedprocurement function and provide an exciting opportunity to helpshape how procurement and contract administration are deliveredacross the organisation.

What youll bring to the role:
The ideal candidate will align with the CitysValues and be able to demonstrate the belowcompetencies:

• Experience in procurement purchasing tendering and contract administration ideally in the local government context.
• Knowledge of procurement legislation policies and best practices within local government.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in procurement systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.

Pre-employmentrequirements:

• Current C Class Drivers Licence.
• National Police Clearance (less than six months old).
• Proof of right to work in Australia.
• Pre-employment medical (arranged and paid for by the City).
