Were looking for an experienced Procurement Manager who can operate as a genuine business partner across the organisation.

This is not a traditional procurement role focused on running every procurement process. Instead youll work alongside leaders and teams to build capability provide practical advice strengthen governance and help people make confident informed decisions.

Youll be the organisations trusted adviser on procurement probity and enterprise riskpartnering with stakeholders to deliver value-for-money outcomes navigate complex procurements and embed better ways of working.

Working across a diverse portfolio that includes marketing events tourism media corporate services and professional services youll bring a pragmatic and solutions-focused approach. Youll know how to balance compliance requirements with commercial realities helping the business achieve its objectives while maintaining strong governance standards.

About you

Youre a collaborative and influential procurement professional who builds credibility quickly and enjoys working in partnership with stakeholders.

You dont see procurement as a gatekeeping function. Instead you focus on coaching empowering and enabling others to achieve better outcomes. You bring sound judgement strong commercial acumen and the confidence to provide practical advice in complex or high-risk situations.

You are equally comfortable facilitating a procurement workshop advising a senior leader on a strategic procurement reviewing governance requirements or presenting risk insights to executive stakeholders.

Youll bring:

Demonstrated experience in public sector procurement providing advice and support across the full procurement lifecycle with a strong focus on governance probity and value-for-money outcomes.

Outstanding stakeholder engagement and influencing skills with the ability to build trusted partnerships and confidently advise leaders at all levels.

Strong commercial acumen and the ability to translate complex procurement policy and governance requirements into practical solutions-focused advice.

Experience coaching mentoring and building capability empowering stakeholders to confidently manage procurement activities and make informed decisions.

Well-developed analytical problem-solving and risk management skills with the ability to identify opportunities manage risk and drive continuous improvement.

Experience supporting enterprise risk frameworks and reporting combined with excellent written communication skills and the ability to prepare high-quality executive briefings and recommendations.
