Job Summary

Our client is a Federal Government organisation who are seeking Principal Java/Bespoke Software Engineers (Developers) to join their team in Canberra ACT.
Role Summary
You will support maintain and enhance a mission-critical application developing enterprise Java solutions cloud integrations and backend services while working within a highly skilled Agile development team.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain enterprise Java applications and backend services.
Design and implement solutions using Java Spring Boot Oracle and AWS technologies.
Develop REST/SOAP APIs maintain React-based web interfaces and support CI/CD pipelines and software releases.
Selection Criteria:
Minimum 8 years experience in enterprise Java development with Spring Boot JPA/Hibernate and Oracle databases.
Strong experience with AWS services REST/SOAP APIs ReactJS Git Jenkins Maven and Linux.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work within an Agile development environment.
Baseline Security Clearance.
On offer is a 12-month contract based in Canberra (Hybrid) with up to 2 x 12-month extension options and a highly competitive hourly rate.
