South Coast Baptist College (SCBC) is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Primary Teacher to join our growing Primary School team for a 0.6 FTE relief contract position during Semester 2 2026.

About the Role

As a Primary Teacher you will be responsible for creating a positive and engaging learning environment that supports students to achieve their personal best.

Working collaboratively with colleagues you will deliver high-quality teaching and learning programs build strong relationships with students and families and contribute to the life of the College through a Christ-centred approach to education.

This 0.6 FTE relief contract position will commence at the beginning of Semester 2 2026 and conclude at the end of the school year unless otherwise advised.

Essential Requirements

• Hold registration or be eligible for registration with the Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia (TRBWA)
• Hold a recognised teaching qualification
• A personal faith and commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ
• Active participation in a church or Christian community exemplifying Christian beliefs behaviour and practices
• Acceptance of the Colleges Statement of Faith
• Ability to build cooperative and supportive relationships with staff students and families
• Commitment to maintaining a child-safe environment in line with the Colleges values and policies
• Commitment to professional growth and personal best practice

• First Aid Certificate
