The Premium Suites Lead plays a key leadership role in delivering an exceptional guest experience within our premium/VIP suites. The Premium Suites Lead is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operation of assigned VIP suites and club areas while providing direction guidance and support to Suite Attendants throughout events. This position ensures suites are properly set food and beverage service is executed accurately and efficiently and guests receive courteous and personalized service throughout the event. The Premium Suites Lead serves as a point of contact between the VIP Suite Attendants management culinary and other event operations teams. This position is responsible for helping monitor service standards food quality alcohol compliance inventory sanitation and event closeout procedures. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who can lead by example remain calm in a fast-paced environment and proactively identify and resolve guest and operational needs.

This role pays an hourly rate of $30.00 and is tip eligible.

Oak View Group is the venue manager and food and beverage provider of the SoFi Center a first-of-its-kind venue located in Palm Beach Gardens on the campus of Palm Beach State College. TGLpresented by SoFi is a new golf league combining advanced technology with teams of top players from the PGA TOUR for two-hour weekly competitions in prime time. Seven TGL teams representing seven different cities go head-to-head in a season-long competition at SoFi Center a first-of-its-kind venue built specifically for TGL on the campus of Palm Beach State College. Matches air on ESPN and the ESPN app in the U.S. with every shot live and all the players micd up bringing unprecedented access to the competition for golf fans.

• Responsible for leading the setup of food & beverage service areas within the premium/VIP suites and clubs based on specific event needs.
• Ensures all VIP suites are set prior to the event.
• Responsible for ensuring quality and hospitality throughout all Premium/VIP areas.
• Responsible for communication between counterparts of the department.
• Responsible for organization and preparation of events.
• Responsible for leading team members on non-event and event days.
• Forward any other inquiries (not regarding food and beverage) to the correct entity and/or personnel.
• Monitor and maintain food quality.
• Assist management with monitoring the department by maintaining policies and procedures upholding safety and sanitation standards and ensuring a positive atmosphere for team members and guests.
• Monitor and enforce safe alcohol policies and procedures.
• Monitor and maintain inventory control and product requisition.
• Have full knowledge of food and beverage menu items and accompaniments.
• Responsible for leading the service of beverages to guests including alcoholic beverages.
• Check the guests ID to verify the minimum age requirement for the purchase of alcoholic beverages.
• Responsible for observing guests to respond to any additional requests.
• Lead the setup of premium location functions including linens dishware glassware and silverware.
• Maintains sanitation health and safety standards in work areas.
• Show demonstrated ability to meet the company standard for excellent attendance.
• Assures that the location equipment is operable and clean prior to the start of the event.
• Responsible for recognizing guests that are visibly intoxicated and taking action to cut off alcohol to such individuals.
• Enforces all Oak View Group and SoFi Center policies and procedures.
• All other duties as assigned by the managers and supervisors.

• 1-2 years experience working in a lead or supervisory capacity in a fast-paced restaurant or catering environment or applicable education. Ability to supervise the work of others.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to communicate with employees co-workers volunteers management staff and guests in a clear businesslike and respectful manner which focuses on generating a positive enthusiastic and cooperative work environment.
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented fast-paced event-driven environment.
• Possess a valid food handling certificate or alcohol service permit if required by state or federal regulations.
• Ability to calculate basic math functions (addition subtraction multiplication division percentages) as they relate to POS credit transactions and product inventory.
