Pre-Sales Engineer

Epson a leader in printer and imaging markets is seeking an IT guru to join our Pre-Sales team supporting our growing office and commercial print businesses.

Reporting to our Team Leader Pre-Sales this role will act as a technical representative for our Victorian sales operations supporting our sales team dealers and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure test and troubleshoot print solutions in diverse IT environments.
• Collaborate with the sales team & service team to understand client requirements and develop tailored solutions.
• Provide technical pre-sales support including product demonstrations proofs-of-concept and customer events.
• Lead technical presentations training and workshops to demonstrate the value of Epson technology to clients.
• Assisting with installations either remotely or on-site at customer locations

Highly Desirable Skills & Experience:

• IT Network Integration:
• • Extensive knowledge of networking protocols and infrastructure.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to network configuration.
• Technical Pre-Sales & Solution Design:
• • Ability to translate customer requirements into effective technical solutions product configurations and service offerings.
  • Experience in presenting complex solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Print experience (advantageous but not essential):
• • Background with A3 Multifunction Devices or Large Format printers (in Photo proofing signage or textile).
  • Experience with third-party print management software such as PaperCut.
• Project Management and Collaboration:
• • Exceptional communication skills and ability to deliver effective training.
  • Strong collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications or certification in these areas will be highly regarded.
